YotSite (internally YotShop) is a specialised platform for yachts and marine vessels rather than a general store. It helps a vessel's crew and operators catalogue the ship's equipment, track onboard spare-parts inventory, buy and sell parts with other vessels, and get AI help from uploaded equipment manuals — all in the context of an approved vessel.
The Problem
Vessel crews track equipment and spare parts across spreadsheets, paper, and scattered manuals — so no one has a reliable picture of what's aboard, what's running low, or where to find the answer buried in a manufacturer's manual.
The Solution
- Vessel onboarding with an approval workflow — users, vessels, parts, and listings move through pending / approved / declined states
- A hierarchical ship's-equipment tree (system → manufacturer → model → component → part) built with drag-and-drop
- Per-part inventory: stock, min/max thresholds, price, storage location, expiry, and department — rolled up into an admin dashboard
- A peer-to-peer parts marketplace with card-payment checkout for surplus and spare parts
- An AI assistant that answers questions grounded in the vessel's uploaded equipment manuals
